Establishment of HubCo

HubCo was established in September 2002. The recent shareholders are BEB, E.ON Ruhrgas, Statoil and Wingas. HubCo works on the basis of the following principles:

• Fully independent company with own location, own IT structure, own staff
  
• HubCo will be a limited liability company incorporated and acting under German law.
  
• HubCo will not engage into trading.
  
• HubCo Company will operate as a profit-focused organisation
  

A fully integrated trading place between Bunde on the Dutch-German border and Emden on the German North Sea coast. was established.The region serves as pivot for gas flows from Norway, the Netherlands, the UK and Germany because pipelines of the leading European gas companies come together there.
